Recipes: food, family, and friends...travel and tradition
I spent the late afternoon putting some of my favorite recipes back in their box after having them accumulate, from frequent use, next to my stove. New favorites were also transcribed from their scraps of paper onto new recipe cards. I love my recipe collection. It makes me feel close to family and friends when we are so far away. New additions also remind me of where we have traveled. Hotteok and kimbap are new additions entering the box today.

Ooo, I was gogin to do this too! I have a box filled with recipies from friends and family that I got as a wedding gift...so fun to re-read some of them. I even tend to get them out when people come visit just to show them the funny ones!
